I’m taking small strides to becoming a vegan. The road isn’t easy but little by little I’m finding foods that replace some of my old-time favorites for their vegan counterparts. In doing so, I’ve also been shifting aspects of my lifestyle, including my beauty routine […]

You could say that we’re obsessed with scoring soft lips, and really, is that so wrong? Who really wants to go around with rough, dry, cracked lips anyhow?! However, not all lip balms are created many are made of ingredients, like Parabens, that we want no where near our lips. But, thankfully, there are tons of cool natural products like our fav lip butter, Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter.
We’ve been using this light lip butter for a few days now and have to say that we are obsessed! Infused with naturally all-powerful Brazilian extracts, like cupuaçu, açaí, and coconut oil, this balm works to leave your nourished, soft and feeling subtle with a subtle dewy sheen that intensifies your natural lip color.
Awesome for dyness, the Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter will also leave your lips feeling smooth, condition, and hydrated as it gives off a mild (and mildly additive) Doce de Leite fragrance that we can’t get enough of!
From the creator of Sephora’s top selling bodycare product– the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream – the Sol de Janeiro’s NEW Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter is one of our new must-haves for spring that we know you’ll love.

Holla, it’s the weekend! While this time is still typically pretty busy with errands and such, it’s also a time where you might a have a little bit of energy to devote to that precious me-time. For us that is all about taking a relaxing bath or shower to literally scrub away the stress of the week. One product that we have been loving is the collection of natural scrubs from Beverly to 5th! Started by Andy Panteli, who wanted to bring elements of the natural Beverly Hills summer back to his 5th Avenue hometown. What resulted was a cruelty-free and natural skincare line where coffee is one of the main ingredients. This includes a three-scrub collection that includes the Mandarin Orange Coffee Scrub, Coconut Coffee Scrub, and a Peppermint Coffee Scrub that smells amazing and feels so soft and gentle on the skin.
Beyond being a natural line, we were really impressed by how it makes our skin so smooth as it works to exfoliate, moisturize, and even help with stretch marks, cellulite, and aging! And a little goes a long way that you simply scrub onto your skin and rinse. As an added bonus, the scrubs don’t contain paragons, artificial dye, artificial fragrance, petrochemicals, sulphates, formaldehyde. They carefully select their products so that you can rest assured that only placing the best ingredients on your body during your precious ‘chill-out’ time. Beverly to the 5th recommends that you use the product around 2-3 times per week to reap the benefits, and plus you’ll really want to after the first use. Soft skin ahead!

In our journey to living more naturally, we’ve found that some of the hardest changes can be in with finding alternatives to our old school beauty products. As children of the ’80s and ’90s, natural wasn’t really a mainstream thang that we’ve since been figuring […]
